PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact power reception device which allows for detection of the fact that a position detection relay has open failure at the time of alignment with a transmission device.SOLUTION: A detection unit 205 includes position detection resistor 201 and relay 203 connected in series. In a state where a charging relay 210 is disconnected, a current sensor 203 detects a current flowing to the detection unit 205. A voltage sensor 204 detects the voltage between two nodes X, Y where the detection unit 205 is connected. In a state where a power reception coil 100 receives q weak power, and the charging relay 210 is disconnected, a vehicle ECU500 instructs to bring a relay 202 into connection state, calculates the impedance between two nodes X, Y for connection with the detection unit 205, by the detection values of a current sensor 202 and voltage sensor 204, and detects open failure of the relay 202 on the basis of the impedance thus calculated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】送電装置との位置合わせ時に位置検出用のリレーがオープン故障していることを検出することができる非接触受電装置を提供する。【解決手段】検出ユニット205は、直列に接続された位置検出用の抵抗201とリレー203とを含む。電流センサ203は、充電リレー210が切断された状態において、検出ユニット205に流れる電流を検知する。電圧センサ204は、検出ユニット205が接続される2つのノードX,Y間の電圧を検知する。車両ECU500は、受電コイル100が微弱電力を受電し、かつ充電リレー210が切断された状態で、リレー202を接続状態にするように指示し、電流センサ202および電圧センサ204の検出値によって、検出ユニット205が接続される2つのノードX,Y間のインピーダンスを算出し、算出したインピーダンスに基づいて、リレー202のオープン故障を検出する。【選択図】図1
