PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle communication machine and a roadside machine capable of switching the lighting state of a headlight from a high beam to a low beam in accordance with an ambient situation.SOLUTION: On-vehicle communication machine 10 includes: a communication part for performing information communication with an external communication machine; and a control part. The control part receives the current position and traveling direction of the other vehicle 1 and headlight information indicating the lighting state of a headlight via the communication part, and determines whether or not the lighting state of the other vehicle 1 is a high beam on the basis of the received headlight information, and when the lighting state is the high beam, allows the communication part to transmit information for notifying the other vehicle 1 that the lighting state is the high beam on the basis of the received current position and traveling direction of the other vehicle 1 and the current position of the own vehicle 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】周囲の状況に合わせて、前照灯の点灯状態をハイビームからロービームに切り替え可能な車載通信機および路側機を提供する。【解決手段】車載通信機10は、外部通信機との間で情報通信を行う通信部と、制御部と、を備える。制御部は、通信部を介して他車両1の現在位置、走行方向、および前照灯の点灯状態を示す前照灯情報を受信し、受信した前照灯情報に基づいて他車両1の点灯状態がハイビームであるか否かを判定し、点灯状態がハイビームである場合、受信した他車両1の現在位置および走行方向と自車両1の現在位置とに基づいて、点灯状態がハイビームであることを他車両1に報知するための情報を、通信部に送信させる。【選択図】図1
