PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease occurrence frequency of traffic accidents to a pedestrian, a vehicle etc. at an intersection.SOLUTION: An intersection safety system comprises: a base station X including GPS receiving means R, position calculating means C, correction value calculating means Dx and correction value etc. transmitting means Sx; and a first smartphone SP1 and a second smartphone SP2 including base station identification information receiving means R0, the GPS receiving means R, the position calculating means C and position information of pedestrian/vehicle etc. operating means CD. The first smartphone comprises: first transmitting/receiving means RS1 for transmitting first position information and base station identification information to second transmitting/receiving means RS2 and receiving second position information and the base station identification information; and first displaying means D1 for displaying the second position information. The second smartphone comprises: second transmitting/receiving means for transmitting the second position information and the base station identification information to the first transmitting/receiving means RS1 and receiving the first position information and the base station identification information; and second displaying means D2 for displaying the first position information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
