PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reliable and accurate notification of a guiding direction even if the speed of waving the guidance support device varies when the notification of the guiding direction is made from the guidance support device, interlocking with the orientation direction of the guidance support device.SOLUTION: The guidance support device (white stick 2) comprises: a direction sensor 21 for detecting an orientation direction of the guidance support device; an acceleration sensor 22 for detecting an acceleration of the guidance support device; storage means 26 for registering guiding directions for guiding a user; notification means 23; and control means 20. The control means controls the notification means for making notification of a guiding direction by the notification means interlocking with an orientation direction, on the basis of comparison determination between the orientation direction detected by the direction sensor and the guiding direction stored in the storage means. For this purpose, the control means sets a wider angular range (β) for vibration as the maximum value of the detected value of the acceleration sensor is larger, and a narrower angular range as the maximum value is smaller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】誘導支援器具の指向方向に連動して当該誘導支援器具から誘導方向を報知するにあたり、誘導支援器具の振り速度が変化しても確実かつ正確に誘導方向を報知する。【解決手段】誘導支援器具(白杖2)は、誘導支援器具の指向方向を検出する方位センサー21と、誘導支援器具の加速度を検出する加速度センサー22と、使用者を誘導する誘導方向を登録する記憶手段26と、報知手段23と、制御手段20とを備える。制御手段は、指向方向に連動して誘導方向を報知手段を用いて報知するために、方位センサーにより検出される指向方向と記憶手段に記憶された誘導方向との比較判断に基づき、報知手段を制御する。その際、制御手段は、加速度センサーの検出値の極大値が大きいほど振動させる角度範囲(β)を広く、同極大値が小さいほど同角度範囲を狭く設定する。【選択図】図4
