PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric booster improved in rigidity and sound vibration performance.SOLUTION: An electric booster 1 includes a fitting plate 65 having stat bolts 8 provided for attachment to a vehicle and fixed to a housing 3. A bearing member 42 for rotatably supporting the nut member of a ball screw mechanism is fixed to the rear housing 3B of the housing 3, and the fitting plate 65 is fixed together with the rear housing 3B to a front housing 3A by a fixing screw 55 at a position more away from the radial direction center of the bearing member than a portion in which the bearing member 42 is fixed to the rear housing 3B. Thus, strength required of the rear housing 3B can be reduced to achieve light weight. The rigidity of the rear housing 3B can be secured, and sound vibration performance can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ハウジングの剛性、ひいては音振性能を向上させた電動倍力装置を提供する。【解決手段】電動倍力装置1は、車両に取り付けるためのスタットボルト8が設けられ、ハウジング3に固定される取付プレート65を備え、ハウジング3のリアハウジング3Bには、ボールネジ機構のナット部材を回転自在に支持する軸受部材42が固定されており、取付プレート65は、リアハウジング3Bに軸受部材42が固定される部位よりも、軸受部材の径方向中心から離れた位置で、リアハウジング3Bとともにフロントハウジング3Aに固定ねじ55により固定される。これにより、リアハウジング3Bに要求される強度を軽減でき、軽量化を実現できる。また、リアハウジング3Bの剛性を確保することができ、音振性能を向上させることができる。【選択図】図2
