PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle, which can be controlled according to a travel condition, at low cost by detecting the travel condition of the vehicle using a minimum sensor without providing a dedicated sensor.SOLUTION: A vehicle travel condition detector 1 for detecting a travel condition of a vehicle comprises: a virtual rear wheel rotational speed arithmetic part 52 for obtaining a virtual rotational speed of a rear wheel of a vehicle on the basis of parameters related to an internal combustion engine and a transmission of the vehicle; a driven wheel rotational speed calculation part 53 for obtaining a rotational speed of a front wheel the basis of on a detection result of a driven wheel (front wheel) rotational speed sensor 4; and a travel condition detection part 54 for detecting a travel condition by comparing the virtual rotational speed of the rear wheel obtained by the virtual rear wheel rotational speed arithmetic part 52 with the rotational speed of the front wheel obtained by the driven wheel rotational speed calculation part 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】専用のセンサーを設けることなく必要最小限のセンサーを用いて車両の走行状態を検出することにより、走行状態に応じた制御が可能な車両を低コストで提供する。【解決手段】車両の走行状態を検出する車両走行状態検出装置1は、車両の内燃機関及び変速機に関するパラメータに基づいて、車両の後輪の仮想回転速度を求める仮想後輪回転速度演算部52と、従動輪(前輪)回転速度センサー4の検出結果から前輪の回転速度を求める従動輪回転速度算出部53と、仮想後輪回転速度演算部52により求めた後輪の仮想回転速度と、従動輪回転速度算出部53により求めた前輪の回転速度と、の比較で走行状態を検出する走行状態検出部54と、を有する。【選択図】図1
