PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel speed/position detection method for a vehicle capable of accurately detecting a travel speed and a travel position of a vehicle in an unattended manner without using GPS data nor rotational pulse data on wheels.SOLUTION: A travel speed/position detection method comprises: a first step of finding a track gradient γ in an operation route in advance prior to various measurements of vibration, noise, etc.; and a second step of measuring front/rear-directional acceleration α of a vehicle by an acceleration sensor mounted on the vehicle in the various measurements, and finding travel acceleration P of the vehicle for placing the vehicle in travel-directional motion from the measured acceleration and the track gradient γ found in advance. In the second step, the front/rear-directional acceleration α of the vehicle is corrected based upon the track gradient γ at the measurement point so as to remove an influence of the track gradient γ at the measurement point on the front/rear-directional acceleration α of the vehicle from the measured front/rear-directional acceleration α of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】 GPSデータを使用することなく、また車輪の回転パルスデータを用いることなく、車両の走行速度及び走行位置を無人で正確に検出できる車両速度・位置検出方法を提供する。【解決手段】 振動、騒音等の各種計測に先立って、営業路線における軌道勾配γを事前に求める第1ステップと、各種計測の際に車両に搭載した加速度センサにより車両の前後方向加速度αを計測し、これと事前に求めた軌道勾配γとから、車両を進行方向に運動させるための車両の走行加速度Pを求める第2ステップとからなる。第2ステップでは、計測された車両の前後方向加速度αから、当該計測地点における軌道勾配γが車両の前後方向加速度αに与える影響を除去するべく、車両の前後方向加速度αに当該計測地点における軌道勾配γによる補正を加える。【選択図】 図4
