PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for achieving efficient transfer of inter-vehicle communication packet, regardless of whether or not there is a large vehicle and whether or not an inter-vehicle communication device is mounted on a large vehicle.SOLUTION: An obstruction detector (54) detects existence and position of an obstruction obstructing inter-vehicle communication. A reference position detector (52) detects the position of a transmission source vehicle, i.e., the transmission source of a communication packet received by inter-vehicle communication as a reference position. When an angle formed by an obstruction position vector representing the position detected by the obstruction detector with the reference position detected by the reference position detector as a start point, and an own vehicle position vector representing the position of the own vehicle with the reference position as a start point, is a preset threshold angle or less, transfer execution units (55, 56) transfer the communication packet received from the transmission source vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】大型車両の有無や大型車両に車車間通信装置が搭載されているか否かに関わらず、効率のよい車車間通信パケットの転送を実現する技術を提供する。【解決手段】妨害物検出部(54)は、車車間通信を妨害する妨害物の存在および位置を検出する。基準位置検出部(52)は、車車間通信により受信した通信パケットの送信元である送信元車両の位置を基準位置として検出する。転送実施部(55,56)は、基準位置検出部により検出された基準位置を始点として妨害物検出部で検出された位置を表した妨害物位置ベクトル、および基準位置を始点として自車両の位置を表した自車両位置ベクトルの成す角度が予め設定された閾値角度以下である場合に、送信元車両から受信した通信パケットの転送を実施する。【選択図】図1
