PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a getting on/off time attention arousing device for an elevator which enhances ability of arousing users' attention with respect to a step between a car sill and a landing sill.SOLUTION: Light emitting devices 1-5 are installed at required places on a floor surface 11a and a wall surface 11b of an elevator car 11. At predetermined timing between the elevator car 11 arriving at a destination floor and moving to another floor, according to the size x of a step between a car sill 7 and a landing sill 9, the installed light emitting devices 1-5 are lighted or made to blink.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
