PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device of a vehicle which can surely reduce current consumption of a device without reduction in a braking force by properly setting an electric conduction amount to an electric motor in the holding state of a pressing force even when hysteresis characteristics fluctuate.SOLUTION: An electric brake device generates a pressing force of a pressing member PSN to a friction member MSB by transmitting the power generated by an electric motor MTR to the pressing member PSN. The hysteresis characteristics in the relationship between the electric conduction amount to the electric motor and the pressing force of the pressing member are detected every time the prescribed point of time arrives. When it is determined as the holding state where the pressing force is held at a constant level, on the basis of the detected latest hysteresis characteristics, the minimum value of the electric conduction amount capable of maintaining the present pressing force is acquired and the electric conduction amount is set to the value determined on the basis of the acquired minimum value of the electric conduction amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】ヒステリシス特性が変動しても、押圧力の保持状態において電気モータに対する通電量を適切に設定して、制動力の低下を招くことなく装置の消費電流を確実に低減できる、車両の電動制動装置を提供すること。【解決手段】この装置は、電気モータMTRが発生する動力を押圧部材PSNに伝達して、摩擦部材MSBに対する押圧部材PSNの押圧力を発生する電動制動装置である。所定時点が到来する毎に、電気モータに対する通電量と押圧部材の押圧力との間の関係におけるヒステリシス特性が検出される。「押圧力が一定に保持される保持状態」であると判定された場合、検出された最新のヒステリシス特性に基づいて、現在の押圧力を維持できる通電量の最小値が取得され、通電量が、取得された通電量の最小値に基づいて決定された値に設定される。【選択図】図1
