PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a depth measurement method of a tire groove capable of efficiently obtaining a highly accurate tire groove depth.SOLUTION: A depth measurement method of a tire groove using a laser displacement meter includes: a standard data acquisition step of irradiating light incident from a predetermined direction to a tread face of a tire and receiving reflection light of a predetermine angle for this incident light by a light reception part so as to acquire data on a depth of the tire groove; a reverse data acquisition step of making a relative position of the light receiving part for the tire to be the position reversed by sandwiching the light incident from the position of the light receiving part in the standard data acquisition step so as to acquire the data on the depth of the tire; and data synthesis step of synthesizing the reference data and the revers date by collating the standard data acquired by the standard data acquisition step and the reverse data acquired by the reverse data acquisition step of adapting the other of the standard data and the reverse data in place of deficiency data when deficiency data due to the measurement system of the laser displacement meter is found in one of the standard data and the reverse data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】精度の高いタイヤ溝の深さを効率的に得ることができるタイヤ溝の深さ測定方法を提供する。【解決手段】レーザ変位計を用いたタイヤ溝の深さ測定方法であって、タイヤのトレッド面に対して所定の方向から入射光を照射しこの入射光に対する所定の角度の反射光を受光部で受光してタイヤ溝の深さのデータを取得する基準データ取得工程と、タイヤに対する受光部の相対的な位置を基準データ取得工程における受光部の位置から入射光を挟んで反転させた位置にしてタイヤ溝の深さのデータを取得する反転データ取得工程と、基準データ取得工程で得られた基準データと反転データ取得工程で得られた反転データとを照合し基準データ及び反転データの一方にレーザ変位計の測定方式に起因する欠損データがあった場合その欠損データに代えて基準データ及び反転データの他方のデータを採用し基準データと反転データとを合成するデータ合成工程とを備える。【選択図】図1
