PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring a clearance of a passenger conveyor which can measure a dimension of a clearance to be formed between a vertical surface of a receiving beam of the passenger conveyor and an end surface of a building beam opposing to the vertical surface of the receiving beam.SOLUTION: The device for measuring a clearance of a passenger conveyor, which measures a dimension of a clearance to be formed between a vertical surface 3a of a receiving beam 3 of an escalator 1 and an end surface 5a, opposing to the vertical surface 3a of the receiving beam 3, of a building beam 5 on which is placed the receiving beam 3, comprises: a measuring tape 10 made of metal, whose cross section is curved, and which has flexibility and also an upright habit so as to be rolled up; a case 11 which is arranged below the vertical surface 3a of the receiving beam 3 and stores the measuring tape 10; a guide part 12 that guides the measuring tape 10 upward and in a direction of the end surface 5a of the building beam 5; a supporting bar 15 that supports the guide part 12 and moves up the guide part 12 in a direction of a clearance to be formed between the vertical surface 3a of the receiving beam 3 and the end surface 5a of the building beam 5; and a magnet 16 that bonds the guide part 12 to the vertical surface 3a of the receiving beam 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】乗客コンベアの受梁の鉛直面と、この受梁の鉛直面と対向する建築梁の端面との間に形成される隙間の寸法を測定することができる乗客コンベアの隙間測定装置の提供。【解決手段】本発明は、エスカレータ1の受梁3の鉛直面3aと、受梁3が載置される建築梁5の受梁3の鉛直面3aと対向する端面5aとの間に形成される隙間の寸法を測定する隙間測定装置であり、断面が湾曲し、巻き取ることができる柔軟性と同時に直立性を有する金属製の巻尺10と、受梁3の鉛直面3aの下方に配置され、巻尺10が収納されるケース11と、巻尺10を上方に、かつ、建築梁5の端面5a方向に案内するガイド部12と、このガイド部12を支持し、このガイド部12を受梁3の鉛直面3aと、建築梁5の端面5aとの間に形成される隙間方向に上昇させる支持棒15と、ガイド部12を受梁3の鉛直面3aに接着する磁石16とを備えている。【選択図】図2
