PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accident occurrence prediction device which further improves the accuracy in learning traffic accident occurrence patterns and predicting a traffic accident.SOLUTION: An accident occurrence prediction device 100 includes a plurality of learning sections 104A and 104B (accident occurrence pattern learning sections), a plurality of prediction sections 105A and 105B (accident occurrence prevention sections) and a switching section 103 (a time zone determination section). The plurality of learning sections execute learning of traffic accident occurrence patterns by using past traffic information. The plurality of prediction sections are provided to respond to the plurality of learning sections. Each of the plurality of prediction sections outputs a prediction indicating a possibility of the occurrence of a traffic accident on the basis of a result of learning by each of the plurality of learning sections. The switching section performs switching between the plurality of learning sections so as to cause a learning section to execute learning by using first information in which traffic information is classified into a plurality of pieces according to an occurrence tendency of traffic accidents included in the traffic information and performs switching between the plurality of prediction sections so as to cause a prediction section to output a prediction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】交通事故の発生パターンの学習及び予報の精度をより高める事故発生予報装置及び事故発生予報方法を提供する。【解決手段】事故発生予報装置100は、複数の学習部104A、104B(事故発生パターン学習部)と、複数の予報部105A、105B(事故発生予防部)と、切替部103(時間帯判定部)とを備える。複数の学習部は、過去の交通情報を用いて交通事故の発生パターンの学習を実行する。複数の予報部は、複数の学習部に対応するように設けられる。複数の予報部の各々は、複数の学習部の各々による学習結果に基づいて、交通事故が発生する可能性を示す予報を出力する。切替部は、交通情報に含まれる交通事故の発生傾向に応じて、交通情報を複数に分類可能な第1情報を用いて、学習を実行させる学習部を複数の学習部の間で切り替えるとともに、予報を出力させる予報部を複数の予報部の間で切り替える。【選択図】図1
