PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular driving device that never spoils travelability of a vehicle in releasing control over an engagement device.SOLUTION: A vehicular driving device comprises a meshing type engagement device 40, an engine 10 and a rotary machine MG1 that can transmit torque to the engagement device 40, and a control part 50 which performs oscillatory control to increase or decrease the torque applied from the rotary machine MG1 to the engagement device 40 in transition of the engagement device 40 from an engaged state to a released state, and also comprises a movement quantity detection device 44a which detects a movement quantity of an engagement element 43 of the engagement device 40, the movement quantity detection device 44a detecting the movement quantity of the engagement element 43 in the transition of the engagement device 40 from the engaged state to the released state, and the control part 50 performing no oscillatory control on condition that the movement quantity is not within a predetermined range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
