PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a situation communication device to a driver that can communicate obstacles, especially an obstacle the driver is not aware of among the obstacles.SOLUTION: A situation providing device 10 comprises: detection means 11 for detecting information on a vehicle, a pedestrian, or the like that can be an obstacle for a driver; stimulus providing means 12 attached to a seat and stimulating the tactile sense of the driver; and drive control means 13 that receives a detection signal from the detection means 11 and drives the stimulus providing means 12 if there is a need to communicate to the driver. The stimulus providing means 12 driven by the drive control means 13 stimulates the driver, and thereby communicates surrounding circumstances to the driver.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
