PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption of an engine at the time of idling operation and restrict belt sliding or clutch judder.SOLUTION: A V-belt type stepless speed change device 3 is provided with a driving centrifugal clutch 41 for changing-over a connected state and a cut state for a crank shaft 6 and a driving pulley 31 and a driven centrifugal clutch 61 for changing-over a connected state and a cut state for a driven shaft 7 and a driven pulley 51. A driving connection rotation speed where the driving centrifugal clutch 41 connects the clutch shaft 6 with the driving pulley 31 is set to a value lower than the connection rotation speed where the driven centrifugal clutch 61 connects the driven shaft 7 with driven pulley 51. At the time of idling, the crank shaft 6 and the driving pulley 31 are cut off by the driving centrifugal clutch 41, and at the time of starting a motor cycle, at first, the crank shaft 6 and the driving pulley 31 are connected by the driving centrifugal clutch 41 and then the driven shaft 7 and the driven pulley 51 are connected by the driven centrifugal clutch 61.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】アイドリング時におけるエンジンの燃費を良くし、また、ベルト滑りまたはクラッチジャダを抑制する。【解決手段】Vベルト式無段変速機3に、クランクシャフト6と駆動プーリ31との接続、切断を切り換える駆動遠心クラッチ41と、ドリブンシャフト7と従動プーリ51との接続、切断を切り換える従動遠心クラッチ61を設ける。駆動遠心クラッチ41がクランクシャフト6と駆動プーリ31とを接続する駆動接続回転数を、従動遠心クラッチ61がドリブンシャフト7と従動プーリ51とを接続する接続回転数よりも低い値に設定し、アイドリング時には駆動遠心クラッチ41によりクランクシャフト6と駆動プーリ31とが切断され、自動二輪車の発進時には、まず駆動遠心クラッチ41によりクランクシャフト6と駆動プーリ31とが接続され、次に従動遠心クラッチ61によりドリブンシャフト7と従動プーリ51とが接続されるようにする。【選択図】図2
