PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that content cannot be used in a place where a communication state is poor.SOLUTION: A content distribution system includes an on-vehicle terminal and an AP server that are connected via radio communication connecting a portable terminal to a base station. The AP server comprises an advance transmission unit i.e. a content advance distribution unit 47 that specifies content with a higher possibility of being used by the on-vehicle terminal at a poor communication place where the communication state of radio communication is poor, and transmits the specified content to the on-vehicle terminal before a vehicle mounted with the on-vehicle terminal arrives at the poor communication place. The on-vehicle terminal comprises an on-vehicle terminal storage unit i.e. a storage unit that stores the content transmitted by the content advance distribution unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
