PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch monitoring circuit for easily reducing dark currents, and for maintaining the minimum currents between the switch monitoring circuit and a switch.SOLUTION: A switch monitoring circuit 1 includes: an external input terminal 10 connected to a switch; a voltage application part 30 for applying a voltage for driving to the external input terminal 10; a voltage detection part 40 for detecting a change in the voltage of the external input terminal 10; a control part 50 connected to the voltage application part 30 and the voltage detection part 40; and a power storage part 20 connected to the external input terminal 10 and the voltage application part 30. The power storage part 20 includes: a voltage application terminal 21 to which the voltage for driving is applied; a first resistance element 22 whose one terminal is connected to the external input terminal 10 and whose other terminal is connected to the voltage application terminal 21; and a capacitive element 23 whose one terminal is connected to the voltage application terminal 21 and whose other terminal is grounded for performing charging from the voltage application terminal 21 to discharging to the voltage application terminal 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
