PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for coating steel cord that can improve adhesiveness and moisture resistance.SOLUTION: Provided are: a rubber composition for coating steel cord made by blending 0.5 to 10 pts.mass of resorcin and/or resorcin-based resin and 0.1 to 10 pts.mass of gallic acid and/or gallic acid hydrate into 100 pts.mass of diene-based rubber, and in which the ratio of the blend amount of the gallic acid and/or gallic acid hydrate to the blend amount of the resorcin and/or resorcin-based resin, (B/A), is 0.10 to 2.5; and further, a pneumatic tire in which said rubber composition is used as a rubber composition for coating steel cord.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】接着性と耐湿性を向上することができるスチールコード被覆用ゴム組成物を提供する。【解決手段】ジエン系ゴム100質量部に対し、レゾルシン及び/又はレゾルシン系樹脂0.5〜10質量部と、没食子酸及び/又は没食子酸水和物0.1〜10質量部を配合してなり、前記没食子酸及び/又は没食子酸水和物の配合量(B)の、前記レゾルシン及び/又はレゾルシン系樹脂の配合量(A)に対する比(B/A)が0.10〜2.5であるスチールコード被覆用ゴム組成物である。また、該ゴム組成物を、スチールコードを被覆するゴム組成物として用いた空気入りタイヤである。【選択図】なし
