PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle collision detecting apparatus capable of accurately detecting occurrence of collision to a vehicle.SOLUTION: A plurality of piezo films 31C, 31R, 31L are attached onto a bumper cover of a vehicle in an aligned manner in vehicle width direction. Voltage detecting circuits 32 comprising a thermistor are connected to the piezo films 31C, 31R, 31L respectively. When collision to the bumper cover occurs, the bumper cover is deformed so that the piezo films 31C, 31R, 31L generate piezo film voltage Vpz. The voltage detecting circuit 32 adjusts generated piezo film voltage Vpz based on temperature T of the bumper cover to generate detection voltage Vout. A collision determining part 64 determines occurrence of collision on the bumper cover when the detection voltage Vout generated by the voltage detecting circuit 32 is larger than a predetermined voltage threshold Vth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】車両への衝突が発生したことを精度よく検出することができる車両用衝突検知装置の提供。【解決手段】車両のバンパーカバーには、車幅方向に並ぶように複数のピエゾフィルム31C、31R、31Lが取り付けられている。各々のピエゾフィルム31C、31R、31Lには、サーミスタを含んだ電圧検出回路32が接続されている。バンパーカバーへの衝突が発生すると、バンパーカバーが変形して、ピエゾフィルム31C、31R、31Lがピエゾフィルム電圧Vpzを発生させる。電圧検出回路32は、発生したピエゾフィルム電圧Vpzをバンパーカバーの温度Tに基づいて補正し、検出電圧Voutを形成する。衝突判定部64は、電圧検出回路32によって形成された検出電圧Voutが、所定の電圧閾値Vthより大きい場合に、バンパーカバーに衝突が発生したと判定する。【選択図】図3
