PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror supporting method that allows for optimally supporting a mirror by minimizing self-weight deformation of the mirror, a mirror support mechanism and mirror structure.SOLUTION: A mirror support structure has a plurality of support rods for supporting a mirror 10 at a plurality of support points, and is designed to minimize self-weight deformation Da of the mirror 10 based on positions of the support points of the plurality of support rods and a joint angle θ of each support rod with respect to a bottom surface of the mirror 10.
