PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device that allows people outside a vehicle to easily visually recognize whether the vehicle is committing a violation or not, and can save energy in an area display is unnecessary.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device 40 is an on-vehicle device mounted on a particular vehicle 30 provided with an external display unit 52 which can be visibly recognized from the outside of the vehicle, and comprises a communication unit 41 and a control unit 42. The communication unit 41 receives a stop signal A2 from an exist-side communication device 80 outside the vehicle when the particular vehicle 30 exits from a prescribed area 60. The control unit 42 controls the external display unit 52. The control unit 42 controls the external display unit 52 so as to turn on a normal display lamp 521 if it does not recognize the violation of the particular vehicle 30 in the prescribed area 60, and turn on a violation display lamp 522 if it recognizes the violation of the particular vehicle 30. Upon receiving the stop signal A2 via the communication unit 41, it continues turning on the violation display lamp 522 if it recognizes the violation of the particular vehicle 30, and turns off the normal display lamp 521 if it does not recognize the violation of the particular vehicle 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】車両の違反の有無が外部から容易に視認可能であり、表示が不要な領域では省エネルギー化を図ることが可能な車載器を提供すること。【解決手段】車載器40は、車外から視認可能な車外表示部52が設けられた特定車両30に搭載される車載器であって、通信部41と、制御部42とを備えている。通信部41は、所定領域60から特定車両30が退出する際に車外の出口側通信装置80から停止信号A2を受ける。制御部42は、車外表示部52を制御する。制御部42は、所定領域60内において特定車両30の違反を認識していない場合には正常表示ランプ521の点灯を行い、特定車両30の違反を認識している場合には違反表示ランプ522の点灯を行うよう車外表示部52を制御し、通信部41を介して停止信号A2を受信する際、特定車両30の違反を認識している場合には、違反表示ランプ522の点灯を継続し、特定車両30の違反を認識していない場合には、正常表示ランプ521を消灯する。【選択図】図2
