PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular body structure in which a battery box can be protected from an external force upon a vehicular side surface collision and a vehicular body rigidity can be improved.SOLUTION: A beam member 12 is fixed and installed under a condition of being hung over between tire houses 20R, 20L which are components of side structures 18R, 18L. Fixing members 12a-R, 12a-L at the left and right both end parts of the beam member are positioned at vehicular width direction outsides more than a battery box 14, and an external force upon a vehicular side surface collision is input to the beam member prior to the battery box. As the beam member absorbs impact upon a vehicular side surface collision, impact to the battery box can be suppressed. A structure part is formed by the beam member, the part of the tire house from the position at which the beam member is fixed to a floor panel 16 and the floor panel. Thus, a reinforcement structure in the shear plane direction of the vehicular body 10 is constructed, and the vehicular body can be improved against the external force upon a vehicular side surface collision.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両の側面衝突時の外力からバッテリボックスを保護するとともに、車体剛性を向上させることのできる車体構造を提供すること。【解決手段】架け渡し部材12を、サイドストラクチャ18R,18Lの構成要素であるタイヤハウス20R、20L間に架け渡した状態で固定設置する。架け渡し部材の左右両端部の固定部材12a−R、12a−Lは、バッテリボックス14よりも車両幅方向外側に位置し、車両の側面衝突時の外力は、バッテリボックスよりも先に架け渡し部材に入力される。架け渡し部材が側面衝突時の衝撃を吸収することで、バッテリボックスへの衝撃を抑制することができる。架け渡し部材と、タイヤハウスの架け渡し部材が固定された位置からフロアパネル16までの部分と、フロアパネルとで構造部を形成する。これにより、車体10のせん断面方向の補強構造を構成し、車両の側突時の外力に対して車体構造を向上させることができる。【選択図】図1
