PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an engine revolution speed from dropping in a case where drive force is generated by the engine revolution speed higher than a target revolution speed under a battery-less travel control.SOLUTION: A vehicle includes an engine, a first MG (a motor-generator), a second MG, a planetary gear mechanism disposed between the engine and the first MG and second MG, a battery, and an ECU. The ECU executes battery-less travel control in the case of the battery being abnormal. The battery-less travel control includes: engine F/B control so that a revolution speed of the engine matches a target revolution speed; and power balance control so as to output required drive force, with generation power of the first MG equaling discharge power of the second MG. In a case where the revolution speed of the engine is higher than a threshold speed that is higher than the target revolution speed by a specified value during the battery-less travel control, the ECU reduces the required drive force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】バッテリレス走行制御中にエンジン回転速度が目標回転速度よりも高い状態で駆動力を発生させる場合に、エンジン回転速度の落ち込みを抑える。【解決手段】車両は、エンジンと、第1MG(モータジェネレータ)と、第2MGと、エンジンと第1MGと第2MGとの間に設けられる遊星歯車装置と、バッテリと、ECUとを備える。ECUは、バッテリが異常である場合、バッテリレス走行制御を実行する。バッテリレス走行制御は、エンジンの回転速度が目標回転速度になるようにするエンジンF/B制御と、要求駆動力を出力しつつかつ第1MGの発電パワーと第2MGの放電パワーとを等しくするパワー収支制御とを含む。ECUは、バッテリレス走行制御中にエンジンの回転速度が目標回転速度に所定値高いしきい速度よりも高い場合、要求駆動力を低下させる。【選択図】図9
