PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the configuration of a wire harness mounted in a vehicle that may be additionally equipped with various optional electric articles, and to make it possible to reduce the diameter and the weigh of a power source line included in the wire harness.SOLUTION: An electric connection device for a vehicle is configured such that various electric articles 40 such as options can be attached to arbitrary parts of the power source line W1 of a common main line wire harness W/H. An on-vehicle connector 30 incorporating a switching circuit and so on is used for connecting the various electric articles 40. A master control part 20 that integrally controls supply of power to the loads of the electric articles 40 is provided to restrict the maximum value of current flowing in the power source line W1. Priority control is exerted by dividing loads into long period loads and short period loads in accordance with the length of a control period. If both are simultaneously supplied with power, supply of power to the long- or short-period loads is preferentially maintained. Alternatively, control is exerted so as to prevent overlap of the timings of power supply. The long-period loads are turned off during supply of power to the short-period loads. 【課題】様々なオプションの電装品を追加する可能性のある車両に搭載するワイヤハーネスの構成を簡素化すると共に、ワイヤハーネスに含まれる電源線の細径化及び重量の低減を可能にする。【解決手段】オプション等の各種電装品40を、共通の幹線ワイヤハーネスW/Hの電源線W1の任意の箇所に後付けできるように構成する。各種電装品40の接続のために、スイッチング回路等を内蔵した車載コネクタ30を用いる。電源線W1に流れる電流の最大値を抑制するために、複数の電装品40の負荷の通電を統合的に制御するマスタ制御部20を設ける。制御周期の長短に応じて負荷を長期負荷と短期負荷とに区分して、優先制御を行う。両者が同時に通電状態の場合は、過電流を検知した時に長短どちらかの通電を優先的に維持する。または通電タイミングが重ならないように制御する。短期負荷の通電中は長期負荷をオフにする。PWM制御の場合も短期負荷を優先する。【選択図】図1
