PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive apparatus capable of taking advantage of the strength of a system that includes two batteries with difference characteristics.SOLUTION: A drive apparatus includes: a first battery; a second battery that is superior in an output-weight density and inferior in an energy-weight density to the first battery; a voltage conversion part for converting an output voltage of the second battery; a drive part for driving with power supplied from a battery; a cut-off part for cutting off the current from the drive part side to the first battery side; and a control part for controlling the voltage conversion part. In a case where voltage points of the first and second batteries belong to a zone where the voltage of the first battery is equal to or less than a withstanding voltage of the drive part, with the voltage of the first battery equal to or less than a value produced by converting the voltage of the second battery with a maximum conversion ratio, and with the voltage of the first battery equal to or more than a value produced by converting the voltage of the second battery with a minimum conversion ratio, and where an optimal voltage in accordance with required drive force is higher than the voltage of the first battery, the control part controls the voltage conversion part so as to output the optimal voltage on the basis of the optimal voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】特性の異なる2つの蓄電器を備えたシステムの特長を活かすことができる駆動装置を提供すること。【解決手段】駆動装置は、第1蓄電器と、第1蓄電器に比べて出力重量密度が優れエネルギー重量密度が劣る第2蓄電器と、第2蓄電器の出力電圧を変換する電圧変換部と、蓄電器からの供給電力によって駆動する駆動部と、駆動部側から第1蓄電器への電流を遮断する遮断部と、電圧変換部を制御する制御部とを備える。制御部は、第1蓄電器の電圧が駆動部の耐圧限界値以下であり、第1蓄電器の電圧が第2蓄電器の電圧を最大変換率で変換した値以下であり、第1蓄電器の電圧が第2蓄電器の電圧を最小変換率で変換した値以上である領域内に、第1蓄電器と第2蓄電器の電圧点が属し、かつ、要求駆動力に応じた最適電圧が第1蓄電器の電圧より高い場合は、最適電圧に基づいて、電圧変換部が最適電圧を出力するよう電圧変換部を制御する。【選択図】図4
