PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably decide a position of a rear region of a trailer in a vehicle rear capture system and a method therefor.SOLUTION: A system (13) is configured to capture a rear region (17) of a rear trailer (14), which has a driving cab (15) and the rear trailer rotatable with respect to the driving cab (15). The system comprises: at least two wheel sensors (2, 3) which are located at opposite both ends of axles (18, 19) in wheels of the rear trailer (14) and acquire information concerning rotary motion of wheels fitted to both ends of the wheel sensor; and a control unit 4 which decides a position of the rear region (17) of the rear trailer (14) based on said acquired information concerning the rotary motion of the wheels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
