PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost by dispensing with mounting of an additional component for securing airtightness, more on an inner position from a sensor holder.SOLUTION: In a bearing device 11 including: a bearing having an inner ring 12, an outer ring 13 and a rolling element 14 rolling between an inner ring raceway surface 12A and an outer ring raceway surface 13A; a magnetic encoder 16 positioned on one end portion in an axial direction, of the bearing and fixed to the inner ring 12; a magnetic sensor 8 for detecting rotation of the magnetic encoder 16; and a sensor holder 1 fitted to the outer ring 13 and holding the magnetic sensor 8 on a prescribed position so as to be opposed to a magnetic pole of the magnetic encoder 16, the sensor holder 1 is constituted of a cup-shaped metallic body 1A, and a partitioning wall body 1B joined to an inner face side of the body 1A and made of synthetic rubber or synthetic resin. An insertion hole 2A for inserting the magnetic sensor 8, is formed on a bottom plate portion 2 of the body 1A, and the partitioning wall body 1B covers a cylindrical portion of the magnetic sensor 8 and the insertion hole 2A to hermetically seal the circumference of the insertion hole 2A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
