PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle and a control method therefor, which predict a power balance of a battery in a set route, improving fuel economy in the set route and the life of the battery.SOLUTION: A control apparatus performs the control of: predicting predicted-charge electric energy, predicted-consumption electric energy and predicted-drive electric energy for the entirety of a set route La, assuming that a vehicle travels at a speed in the set route on the basis of an obtained road condition and a vehicular weight; and adjusting driving of a motor-generator and regenerative generation thereof for an actual travel in the set route on the basis of a power balance of the aforementioned electric energy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】設定経路におけるバッテリーの電力収支を予測することにより、その設定経路における燃費を向上すると共に、バッテリーの寿命を向上するハイブリッド車両及びその制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】制御装置が、取得した道路状況及び車重に基づいて、設定経路を速度で走行すると仮定して、設定経路Laの全行程に対して、予測充電電力量、予測消費電力量、及び、予測駆動電力量を予測し、それらの電力収支に基づいて、設定経路を実際に走行するときのモータージェネレーターの駆動及び回生発電を調節する制御を行うように構成された。【選択図】図2
