PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard engine with a steering force adjustment mechanism which can properly and effectively adjust a steering force, and is improved in durability or the like.SOLUTION: A cylindrical handle bracket 21 for supporting a base part of a steering handle and forming a rotation support part is attached to an external periphery of a drive shaft housing 23 corresponding to at least the rotation support part 17A at an upper part rotationally and integrally together with an elastic body 22. A steering force adjustment mechanism 34 comprises a screw shaft 37 which is screw-connected to a screw hole 35 which is formed while being penetrated with a swivel bracket 16, and whose tip abuts on a pressing member 39, and presses a pressing face 38 of the handle bracket 21 by the pressing member 39 by screwing the screw shaft 37.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
