PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately prevent the high-rate degradation owing to the unevenness of the ion concentration in an electrolytic solution of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery by reflecting a behavior for recovery from the unevenness of the ion concentration during a period in which the charge/discharge is suspended in a battery system of an electric motor vehicle which can be charged from outside.SOLUTION: In a battery system of an electric motor vehicle, an integrated evaluation value ΣDex(N) which makes a value of a degradation indicator of the high-rate degradation is executed in a correction process (S590) for reflecting a behavior for recovery from a high-rate degradation in suspension of charge and discharge in a battery suspension period. The correction process is executed according to an easing coefficient ar showing a degree of easing the biasing of an ion concentration for each elapse of a fixed length of time at the end of the battery suspension period. The easing coefficient ar is variably set so that the degree of easing the biasing of the ion concentration during the fixed length of time becomes larger when a duration RT of the battery suspension period is short in comparison to that when the duration RT is long.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】外部充電可能な電動車両の電池システムにおいて、非水電解液二次電池の電解液中のイオン濃度の偏りに起因するハイレート劣化を、充放電休止期間におけるイオン濃度の偏りの回復挙動を反映して適切に防止する。【解決手段】ハイレート劣化の劣化指標値である積算評価値ΣDex(N)は、電池休止期間において、充放電休止中でのハイレート劣化の回復挙動を反映する補正処理(S590)を実行される。当該補正処理は、電池休止期間の終了時に、一定時間の経過毎のイオン濃度の偏りの緩和度を示す緩和係数arに従って実行される。緩和係数arは、電池休止期間の時間長RTが短いときには、時間長RTが長いときと比較して、一定時間におけるイオン濃度の偏りの緩和度が大きくなるように可変設定される。【選択図】図6
