PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular interior component which has a rigidity suitable alleviation of an impact due to a side collision.SOLUTION: A vehicular interior component comprises: a door panel; a door trim attached to the door panel; and a box-shaped protector 2 which is provided between the door panel and the door trim, and is attached to one of the door panel and the door trim. An outer wall groove 2h, which extends in a vehicle longitudinal direction, is formed on an outer wall 2e of the protector 2 facing the other of the door panel and the door trim. At least one of an upper opposite face 2f and a lower opposite face 2g of the outer wall 2e, which are vertically separated by the outer wall groove 2h, has a vertical length on a vehicle front side which is longer than a vertical length on a vehicle rear side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
