PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely estimate a high-rate deterioration index even if blocking occurs in actuation power for estimating the high-rate deterioration index while a vehicle stops.SOLUTION: A controller 30 for estimating a high-rate deterioration index has a memory 44 for storing a temperature and an internal resistance of a main electric storage device 16, and includes a high-rate deterioration index estimation part 36. The controller also includes a high-rate deterioration index correction part 42 that: calculates a first normalized resistance by normalizing a prescribed temperature for the internal resistance of last storage data before first start-up which is stored in the memory 44, at the time of the first start-up after actuation power from an accessory battery 28 for supplying the actuation power to the controller 30 is blocked, if the blocking occurs; calculates a second normalized resistance by normalizing the prescribed temperature for the internal resistance of the main electric storage device 16 at the time of star-up; and corrects the high-rate deterioration index at the time of start-up, on the basis of a difference between the first normalized resistance and the second normalized resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
