PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary knob device that is able to avoid occurrence of erroneous operation during operation.SOLUTION: A rotary knob device comprises: a volume adjustment knob 10 for volume adjustment, which is provided on the cylindrical inside so as to be rotatable; an annular tuning knob 20 for selecting a channel of a requesting broadcast wave, which is located on an outer periphery of the volume adjustment knob, and provided so as to be independently rotatable around the same axis of rotation of the volume adjustment knob; a first detection mechanism 30 that detects a rotating operation of the volume adjustment knob; a second detection mechanism 40 that detects a rotating operation of the tuning knob; and a control part 60 that controls the volume adjustment on the basis of the detection result of the first detection mechanism and controls the channel selection on the basis of the detection result of the second detection mechanism. The control part makes the volume adjustment by rotation of the volume adjustment knob ineffective for a period of time that the second detection mechanism detects the rotating operation of the tuning knob.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
