PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase rigidity of a steering hanger beam connected to first and second beams through a bracket, while suppressing the increase of its weight to the minimum.SOLUTION: A bracket 17 that connects a first beam 16 and second beams 18 and 20 of a steering hanger beam 12, which are mutually offset, comprises: a first opening 17a through which a vehicle width direction inner end part of the first beam 16 penetrates; a second opening 17b in which a vehicle width direction inner end part of the second beams 18 and 20 fits; and a third opening 17c that makes the first opening 17a and the second opening 17b communicate with each other. Since a reinforcement member 21 that fits in the third opening 17c abuts on outer circumferential surfaces 16a and 18a of the first beam 16 and the second beams 18 and 20, the first beam 16 and the second beams 18 and 20 are firmly integrated through the reinforcement member 21. Thus, stress concentration at a connection part of the first beam 16 and the second beams 18 and 20 is eased, and the steering hanger beam 12 is prevented from being deformed at a part of the bracket 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
