PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid-pressure generator which allows devices to be arranged with good balance so that stability can be enhanced.SOLUTION: A fluid-pressure generator 1 is provided with: a motor 24 mounted on a base body 100; a housing 91 mounted on the base body 100; a master cylinder 10; and a slave cylinder 20 which is driven by the motor 24. A motor shaft of the motor 24, a cylinder shaft of the master cylinder 10 and a cylinder shaft of the slave cylinder 20 are arranged in parallel. When a virtual plane including the cylinder shaft of the master cylinder 10 is defined as a reference surface S2, the housing 91 is arranged on one surface side of the reference surface S2 and the motor 24 is arranged on the other surface side of the reference surface S2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
