PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scramjet engine having improved efficiency, and a flying object.SOLUTION: A scramjet engine 3 includes: a flow passage formation surface 7A configured to form a combustion flow passage 12 from a suction side to an exhaust side via a combustion region; a fuel injection unit 8 configured to inject fuel from the flow passage formation surface 7A on an upstream side of the combustion region; and a lamp unit 9 provided on an upstream side of the fuel injection unit 8, having a concave surface 91 connected to the flow passage formation surface 7A and extending in a curved manner so as to separate from the flow passage formation surface 7A toward a downstream side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
