PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helical tooth belt capable of reducing noise and vibration more when the helical tooth belt is used at a belt transmission gear driven under a high load or at a high speed rotation.SOLUTION: A helical tooth belt 30 has a back part 31 having core wires 33 buried therein and several teeth 32 arranged at one surface of the back part 31 and each of the teeth is inclined in respect to a belt width direction. Surfaces of the teeth 32 and a part of one surface of the back part 31 are configured by a tooth cloth 35, the other surface of the back part 31 is configured by a back cloth 36. When a tooth pitch is 2 mm or more and 3 mm or less, a thickness of the back cloth 36 is 0.6 mm or more and 1.3 mm or less and when a tooth pitch is 3 mm or more and 4 mm or less, a thickness of the back cloth 36 is 0.6 mm or more and 1.5 mm or less and when a tooth pitch is 4 mm or more and 5 mm or less, a thickness of the back cloth 36 is 1.2 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less. The core wires 33 are twist cords including a high strength glass fiber or carbon fiber and its diameter is 0.2 mm or more and 0.6 mm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】高負荷又は高速回転で駆動されるベルト伝動装置に使用された場合に、騒音および振動をより低減できるはす歯ベルトを提供する。【解決手段】はす歯ベルト30は、心線33が埋設された背部31と、背部31の一方の表面に設けられ、それぞれがベルト幅方向に対して傾斜する複数の歯部32とを有する。歯部32の表面および背部31の前記一方の表面の一部が、歯布35で構成されており、背部31の他方の表面が、背布36で構成されている。歯ピッチが2mm以上3mm未満の場合に、背部36の厚みは0.6mm以上1.3mm以下であって、歯ピッチが3mm以上4mm未満の場合に、背部36の厚みは0.6mm以上1.5mm以下であって、歯ピッチが4mm以上5mm以下の場合に、背部36の厚みは1.2mm以上2.0mm以下である。心線33が、高強度ガラス繊維または炭素繊維を含み、径が0.2mm以上0.6mm以下の撚りコードである。【選択図】図3
