PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-purpose tire air pressure detection device that can notify a crew member of a fall in air pressure of a tire in a short time from the fall in air pressure of the tire or in advance, and can minimize power consumption.SOLUTION: A vehicle-purpose tire air pressure detection device comprises: air pressure detection means that is provided in a tire of an object wheel serving as at least one wheel, and repetitively detects an air pressure of the object tire; transmission means that is provided in the object wheel to repetitively implement wireless transmission of the air pressure serving as a detection result of the air pressure detection means; reception means that is provided in a vehicle body to receive the air pressure transmitted by the transmission means; estimation means that, when the reception means receives information about the air pressure of the same object tire from the transmission means at a plurality of times, is provided in the vehicle body to compute an estimation air pressure serving as an estimation value at current time on the basis of a plurality of up-to-date air pressures received by the reception means; and alarm generation means that is provided in the vehicle body to generate an alarm when the estimation air pressure is equal to or lower than a prescribed threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
