PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component fitting system which is improved in precision in fitting position of a component to a bone member using a robot.SOLUTION: A component fitting system 10 is configured to fit a component 80 to a bone member 70 with a fastener 42, and comprises: a processing machine 40 which perforates the bone member and component along a processing axis 41 and fastens them with the fastener; a positioning part 20 which determines a fitting position on the bone member for the processing axis; a robot 30 which conveys the component to the fitting position on the bone member; and a detection device which is provided on the processing axis, and includes a camera for picking up an image of the component conveyed to the fitting position and also includes a sensor for detecting an inclination of the component conveyed to the fitting position. The robot determines a processing position and a processing direction of the component to the processing axis, based upon the position of the component found from the image picked up by the camera and the inclination of the component detected by the sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
