PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to recognize that unauthorized authentication utilizing radio communication is performed for a driver's own vehicle without reference to a distance between a portable machine and the vehicle.SOLUTION: A collation ECU comprises a sound output processing unit that makes even electronic sound in an audible zone output from a loudspeaker when a request signal is transmitted from a transmission processing unit. A portable machine 2 comprises a microphone 24 for collecting sound, and a sound collation unit 214 for collating the sound, which is collected by the microphone 24, with normal electronic sound. A UHF transmission unit 23 of the portable machine does not transmit a request response signal including a portable machine identification code, when collation is not established in the sound collation unit 214, even in the case where the request signal is received.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
