PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably capture and effectively reduce vibration due to flexure of a rail during car travelling by an inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: An active vibration control device for an elevator includes: at least one displacement sensor 15-1 for detecting relative displacement between a car 5 and a guide rail 2-1; and a control device 20 for estimating a flexure amount of a guide rail 2-11 in a substantially real-time manner using a signal of the displacement sensor 15-1 and controlling an actuator 11-1 of an active roller guide 7-1 in a direction of suppressing vibration of the car 5 based on the estimation result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
