PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object recognition device capable of highly accurately recognizing an object, a model information generation device, an object recognition method, and an object recognition program.SOLUTION: The object recognition device includes an image acquisition part which acquires an image captured by an imaging part, a brightness detection part which detects brightness around a vehicle, and an image recognition part which changes the content of processing for recognizing the object included in the image acquired by the image acquisition part, according to the brightness detected by the brightness detection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
