PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior material which achieves weight reduction by eliminating a steering support beam and maintains attachment and reaction force support of an airbag device to secure good occupant protection performance.SOLUTION: An interior material 1 is disposed at the front side of a driver seat of a vehicle and includes: a body part 7 extending in a vehicle width direction and forming an outer surface; a high rigid part 8 provided on an inner surface of the body part 7 and extending in the vehicle width direction; and an airbag device 9 provided at the high rigid part 8 and having an airbag body 92 which is expanded by driving. The airbag device 9 is supported by the high rigid part 8 when being driven and the airbag body 92 is expanded from the interior of the body part 7 to the vehicle cabin side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】ステアリングサポートビームを撤廃することで軽量化を図ることと、エアバッグ装置の取付け及び反力支持を維持して良好な乗員保護性能を確保することとを両立する内装材を提供すること。【解決手段】内装材1は、車両の運転席の前方に配置される内装材1であって、車両幅方向に延在し、外面を形成する本体部7と、本体部7の内面に設けられ、車両幅方向に延在する高剛性部8と、高剛性部8に設けられ、駆動により展開可能なエアバッグ袋体92を有するエアバッグ装置9と、を備え、エアバッグ装置9は、駆動する際に高剛性部8に支持されて、本体部7内から車室側にエアバッグ袋体92が展開する。【選択図】図3
