PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire unit that can improve both steering stability performance and braking performance in a whole vehicle as the tire unit with good balance, while maintaining low weight and rolling resistance of each tire.SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire unit comprising a front tire F to be mounted on a front wheel of a vehicle and a rear tire R to be mounted on a rear wheel thereof, an end part at a tire equator side of a partial tie rubber layer 10 is arranged in a range of 0 mm to 30 mm from an end part outside in a tire width direction of a belt layer 7 to inside in the tire width direction thereof. In the front tire F, a periphery length p1of the partial tie rubber layer 11 inside the vehicle is set larger than a periphery length p2of a partial tie rubber layer 12 outside the vehicle. In the rear tire R, a periphery length p2of the partial tie rubber layer 12 outside the vehicle is set larger than a periphery length p1of the partial tie rubber layer 11 inside the vehicle, where absolute values of a difference Δpof periphery lengths in the front tire F and a difference Δpof periphery lengths in the rear tire R are set to be within ranges of 5 mm to 40 mm respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】各タイヤの重量と転がり抵抗を低く維持しながら、タイヤユニットとして車両全体での操縦安定性能と制動性能とをバランスよく向上することを可能にした空気入りタイヤユニットを提供する。【解決手段】車両の前輪に装着するフロントタイヤFと後輪に装着するリアタイヤRとからなる空気入りタイヤユニットにおいて、部分タイゴム層10のタイヤ赤道側の端部をベルト層7のタイヤ幅方向外側の端部からタイヤ幅方向内側に0mm〜30mmの範囲に配置し、フロントタイヤFでは車両内側の部分タイゴム層11のペリフェリ長さp1Fを車両外側の部分タイゴム層12のペリフェリ長さp2Fよりも大きくし、リアタイヤRでは車両外側の部分タイゴム層12のペリフェリ長さp2Rを車両内側の部分タイゴム層11のペリフェリ長さp1Rよりも大きくし、フロントタイヤFにおけるペリフェリ長さの差ΔpFとリアタイヤRにおけるペリフェリ長さの差ΔpRの絶対値とをそれぞれ5mm〜40mmの範囲内にする。【選択図】図2
