PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to suppress abnormality warning from being unnecessarily issued, by discriminating whether abnormality of operation occurring in a cooling blower of a battery is a transient abnormality or an abnormality which usually occurs.SOLUTION: The on-vehicle battery cooling system comprises a cooling blower, a blower control part 70, an abnormality determining part 72, a battery temperature sensor 58, a counter 74, and a warning issuing part 80. The cooling blower takes in cooling air and feeds the air to a main battery 10. The blower control part 70 controls driving of the cooling blower. The abnormality determining part 72 determines presence or absence of an abnormality of operation in the cooling blower. The temperature sensor 58 measures a temperature Tb of the main battery 10. The counter 74, when presence of the abnormality of operation in the cooling blower is determined and the temperature Tb of the main battery 10 is not more than a prescribed protective temperature T3, counts up the number K of occurrence of abnormalities. The warning issuing part 80, when the number K of occurrence of abnormalities surpasses a prescribed threshold number K_th, issues abnormality warning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】バッテリの冷却ブロアに動作異常が生じたときに、それが一過性のものであるか恒常的なものであるかを切り分けることで、不要な異常警告の発報を抑制可能とする。【解決手段】車載バッテリ冷却システムは、冷却ブロア、ブロア制御部70、異常判定部72、バッテリ温度センサ58、カウンタ74、及び警告発報部80を備える。冷却ブロアは、冷却空気を取り込んでメインバッテリ10に送り込む。ブロア制御部70は、冷却ブロアの駆動制御を行う。異常判定部72は、冷却ブロアの動作異常の有無を判定する。温度センサ58は、メインバッテリ10の温度Tbを測定する。カウンタ74は、冷却ブロアに対して動作異常有りと判定され、かつ、メインバッテリ10の温度Tbが所定の保護温度T3以下であるときに、異常発生回数Kがカウントアップされる。警告発報部80は、異常発生回数Kが所定の閾値回数K_thを超過したときに、異常警告を発報する。【選択図】図2
