PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for rotary electric machine capable of restraining generation of fluctuations in the degree of fixing a coil on a stator core.SOLUTION: The stator for rotary electric machine, having an electromagnetic steel sheet layered in the axial direction, includes: a stator core having a plurality of teeth projecting in the radial direction; segment coils arranged at slots of spaces between the adjacent teeth. The segment coils are pressed against the teeth with different phases to be fixed in the axial direction of the stator core.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
