PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height adjustment device of a railway vehicle capable of performing vehicle height control and inclination control with a simple structure, and effectively reducing the vibration of a vehicle body, which may affect the ride comfort.SOLUTION: A height adjustment device 10 of a railway vehicle comprises: a pneumatic spring 3 installed between a truck 1 and a vehicle body 2; a main air reservoir 4 for reserving compressed air to be supplied to the pneumatic spring; a height adjustment valve 5 connected between the pneumatic spring and the main air reservoir, and for holding or changing a vehicle height value; a vehicle height sensor 51 for detecting a vehicle height value; and a controller 6 for controlling the height adjustment valve. A vibration sensor 7 is mounted on the vehicle body. When determining that the vehicle body is ascending based on the signal of vibration sensor, the controller sends a command to control the exhaust air to the height adjustment valve which controls the pneumatic spring only when the spring contracts, and when determining that the vehicle body is descending based on the signal of the vibration sensor, the controller sends a command to control the supply air to the height adjustment valve which controls the pneumatic spring only when the spring expands.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】簡単な構造で、車高制御及び傾斜制御が可能であって、乗り心地に影響する車体の振動を効果的に低減できる鉄道車両の高さ調整装置を提供する。【解決手段】台車1と車体2間に設けた空気ばね3と、空気ばねに供給する圧力気体を貯留する元空気ダメ4と、空気ばねと元空気ダメとの間に接続され車高値を保持又は変更する高さ調整弁5と、車高値を検出する車高値センサ51と、高さ調整弁を制御する制御装置6とを備えた鉄道車両の高さ調整装置10である。車体に振動センサ7を備え、制御装置は、振動センサの信号に基づいて車体が上昇中と判断した場合には、空気ばねが短縮するときにのみ、その空気ばねを制御する高さ調整弁に排気の制御指令を出し、振動センサの信号に基づいて車体が下降中と判断した場合には、空気ばねが伸長するときにのみ、その空気ばねを制御する高さ調整弁に給気の制御指令を出す。【選択図】図1
