PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maneuvering system for a vessel capable of exhibiting high maneuverability by a relatively simple maneuvering operation in a maneuvering system for the vessel provided with two propulsion systems on a stern, which are a port side propulsion system including a port side propeller and a port side rudder and a starboard side propulsion system including a starboard side propeller and a starboard side rudder, and to provide a vessel and a maneuvering method for the vessel.SOLUTION: A maneuvering system for a vessel performs a control to translate a vessel to the other broad side while evading the turning-round of the vessel by obtaining forward moving power or backward moving power of the vessel by differences in propulsion power in the back and forth direction of propulsion systems of a port side propeller and a starboard side propeller as well as cancelling a first revolving moment in a revolving direction of the vessel generated by the propulsion power with a second revolving moment in the revolving direction of the vessel generated by steering the propulsion system on the other broadside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
