PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gradient estimating device, a vehicle, and a gradient estimating method, capable of accurately estimating a gradient of a running road on which the vehicle is running even when the vehicle is running on a bad road.SOLUTION: A gradient estimating device comprises: a high frequency acquiring unit which acquires a high frequency component of the acceleration information detected by an acceleration detecting unit which detects an acceleration of a vehicle; a low frequency acquiring unit which acquires a low frequency component of the acceleration information detected by the acceleration detecting unit; a bad road determining unit which determines whether a running road of the vehicle is a bad road on the basis of the high frequency component of the acceleration information detected by the high frequency acquiring unit; a gain adjusting unit which adjusts a gain of the low frequency acquiring unit on the basis of determination results by the bad road determining unit; and a gradient estimating unit which estimates a gradient of the running road on the basis of output results of the low frequency acquiring unit whose gain is adjusted by the gain adjusting unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
